The silicone molding process is divided into two categories according to different silica gel molding processes: solid silicone molding process and liquid silicone molding process. The differences in silicone molding processes can be divided into four major categories. Solid silicone molding process, extrusion silicone molding process, liquid silicone injection (injection molding) process, other special silica gel molding methods.

1. Solid silicone molding process:

Solid-state silicone products are usually placed in a high-temperature mold by adding a mixture of (double bis or bis-four-four) silica gel vulcanizing agent, and then applying pressure through a flat vulcanizing machine. The high-temperature sulfur is solidified, and the hardness of the molded silica gel is molded. Usually at (Shore hardness) 30-70A. In the process of producing rubber compound in the silica gel factory, the raw rubber is first added to the double-roll rubber mixer or the closed kneading machine is gradually added with white carbon black, silicone oil and other additives repeatedly. The properties of silica gel vary depending on the fillers and additives.

2. Silicone extrusion molding process:

Extrusion silicone products are usually formed by extrusion of extruded silica gel. It is a continuous molding process suitable for the production of liquid silica gel catalyzed by solid bisulfide or platinum vulcanizing agent. It is a process in which silicone rubber is continuously formed into semi-finished products of various shapes under the interaction of a silicone extruder barrel and a rotating screw. It can be used to process silicone products such as silicone tubes, insulating sleeves for silicone wire and cable.

3. Liquid silicone molding process:

Liquid silicone, abbreviated as LSR, is a product that can be favored by consumers and manufacturers. It has good elasticity, waterproof and moisture resistance, and is resistant to acid, alkali and other chemical substances, so it is generally used to replace plastic products. The liquid silicone product is integrally molded by injection molding, spraying and injection of silica gel; the LSR is divided into A glue and B glue, and the ratio of the two is controlled by a quantitative device, and then mixed by a static mixer to inject the shot material. The injection molding is carried out after the tube.
